Terms of service
Last updated 30 May 2026.
These terms govern your use of Shifahi. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Shifahi.
The service
Shifahi helps you learn Arabic through spoken, spaced repetition of whole sentences. We may add, change, or remove features over time. Your first lesson is free; some features may require a paid plan in the future.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Please give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or access it in unauthorised ways.
- Do not copy, resell, or redistribute Shifahi's lessons or content without permission.
- Use Shifahi only for lawful, personal learning.
Content and intellectual property
The lessons, sentences, audio, designs, and software are owned by Shifahi or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning while your account is in good standing.
Payment
If you purchase a paid plan, the price, billing period, and renewal terms will be shown to you before you pay. Unless stated otherwise, paid plans renew automatically until cancelled.
Disclaimers
Shifahi is provided "as is" and "as available". We do everything we reasonably can to keep it working and useful, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suited to every purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Shifahi is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You may stop using Shifahi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or to protect the service and its users.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], and any disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction.
